For the places that really need it!
Hello!
The week is almost over! Now that the Career Fair has come and gone, you might have a clearer idea where you want to apply to. And some of thoes places require cover letters! But what really is a cover letter?
Cover letter's tell a story of who you are. It's your time to showcase your personality and highlight some of the most important parts of your resume before your interview. You can write one cover letter that acts as a generic base, then build off that for each application! Here are some resources to help you with that:
- An all-encompasing pdf to help with all the basics of writing a cover letter and what to consider when writing yours!
- A sample format for a cover letter! You do not need to follow this to a T, but it's a good place to start!

- And, as always Career Lab is a great on-campus resource where a qualified individual can look over your cover letter and guide you with finishing it strongly!
